JoJo & The Pinecones, 2016/17 Lincoln Center Kids Resident Artist and celebrated the release of their album at LC Kids Atrium series at Lincoln Center. Their album Night & Day was developed through a residency at Lincoln Center Education is available on iTunes & Spotify. 

The New York City based JoJo & The Pinecones bring their skillful musicianship and love of jazz to the family audience. On their first youth focused release, the group known for their distinctive 'jazzed-up pop and popped-up jazz' style as Joelle Lurie Band, now share their exceptional talent with a new audience as their all-ages friendly alter ego JoJo & The Pinecones.

Joelle Lurie Band play what they like to call “jazzed-up pop & popped up jazz” at concerts, high end special events and also regularly at the iconic Tavern on The Green in Central Park. Their versatility and repertoire allow them to transition from an elegant jazz cocktail hour, to a rocking dance-party - as a quartet or joined by their horn section. They play concerts, corporate events, weddings, and general club dates around the globe as well as their own unique jazz/pop arrangements and original music at venues across the country.

More about lead singer, Joelle Lurie: Acclaimed New York City-based vocalist and songwriter, Joelle Lurie, brings her distinctive “jazzed-up pop & popped-up jazz” modern style to Take Me There (2014), her debut album of standards, originals, and reimagined pop covers. Featured on NPR’s "Song Travels with Michael Feinstein”, Joelle's record features tight arrangements by her longtime bassist, Ben Gallina, and her band. Recent engagements include New York’s Lincoln Center, Birdland Jazz Club, New York Stock Exchange, Top of the Rock and Regattabar.
